The end of an era…

announced in a post today that it’s time on Glenwood South is ending:
“After 13 unforgettable years, Cornerstone Tavern will pour its last drinks.

We’re deeply thankful to everyone who made
Cornerstone a part of Raleigh’s story. To our regulars, our staff who became family, and everyone who brought this place to life, thank you.

It’s been an incredible ride and we couldn’t have done it without you. Come celebrate one last time this coming weekend.

Under new management, a new concept will soon fill this space but Cornerstone will always have a place in our hearts. Thank you, Raleigh. 🍻”

‼️ Exclusive: Breaking Development News‼️ North Hills will file rezoning requests for five parcels in the North Hills Main and Lassiter Districts in August, with the plan to keep the allowable density the same while increasing heights to 12, 20 and 37 stories. In a sit-down interview, Kane Realty Corporation tells Raleigh Magazine the height increases would allow for public gathering areas, ground-floor retail and restaurants, with opportunities for outdoor activation and dining—plus improved pedestrian and bike connectivity, integrated parking decks and traffic solutions.
