Like the myth that travel has to be expensive. We’ve eaten some of the best meals of our lives for $4 out of a questionable alley—and lived to tell the tale. 🍜
Or that booking early guarantees the best deal. ⏰ Please. We once booked months ahead and still watched the price drop the week before like it personally wanted to mock us. 😢
And let’s not forget the classic: “If you don’t plan every detail, the trip will be a disaster.”
Meanwhile, our best memories came from getting lost, missing a bus, and accidentally ending up at a street festival we didn’t even know existed. 🎉🍺
Moral of the story? 💁🏼Travel doesn’t have to be expensive, perfectly timed, or over-planned. It just has to be real.
So ignore the myths, pack the snacks, and lower your expectations slightly—you’ll be fine.
