Baby Bloating: Causes, Symptoms, and Remedies
Baby bloating happens when gas builds up in the baby’s stomach or intestines, making them uncomfortable.
Causes:
Swallowing air during feeding or crying
Immature digestive system
Improper feeding techniques
Sensitivity to formula
Symptoms:
Swollen or hard belly
Frequent burping or farting
Irritability after feeding
Pulling legs toward stomach
Remedies:
Burp the baby during and after feedings
Feed in an upright position
Do tummy time regularly
Gently massage the tummy in a clockwise motion
Move the baby’s legs like riding a bicycle
Use proper latching or anti-colic bottles
See a pediatrician if the problem continues
