☀️Join us this Sunday, October 9 for a talk with artist Grace Rosario Perkins () and curator Laura Copelin (.copelin), followed by a live concert with legendary musician and exhibiting artist Lonnie Holley () to celebrate the final days of the exhibition 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘋𝘢𝘵𝘢!

Those in attendance will receive a free limited-edition risograph that documents a conversation between Perkins and her collaborators from the exhibition’s opening reception.

Lonnie Holley concert at 7pm

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear the artist and curator in dialogue, and to experience Holley play live amongst his sculptural works in an improvised set that layers sound and language, shaped in real time. The seated performance will take place at sunset.

One of the most exciting features of the 2nd Saturdays Downtown Tucson event is our music programming! Our music lineup fills the city streets with amaaazing music against the stunning backdrop of Downtown Tucson. The artists and music that we showcase on our live outdoor Scott Avenue Stage are the best in the city!

First up on stage from 6-7 pm this Saturday night is Liz and Pete - she's Liz, he's Pete, they are Liz & Pete. Liz Cerepanya and Peter Dalton Ronstadt join musical forces to explore material old and new. Liz's heartfelt voice with Pete's haunting harmonies and rich guitar arrangements captivate the mind and tug at the heart.

Come get the night started from 6-7 pm in Downtown Tucson on Scott and Congress as the sun goes down and the 2nd Saturdays energy goes up! See you there. 🙂

We are thrilled to welcome international film star Jacqueline Bisset to this year's LOFT FILM FEST, where she will receive a 2022 Lofty Achievement Award at a special screening of the new drama LOREN & ROSE! You can also catch Jacqueline Bisset in Francois Truffaut’s delightful DAY FOR NIGHT, winner of the 1975 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film!
