Welcome!

I’m an English instructor in Vancouver, Canada. Before becoming a teacher, I was a private investigator and security specialist. And in that profession, I learned a lot about asking questions and analyzing the answers; lessons I’ve applied to my English teaching method.

I’ve worked with many students over the years, and want to connect with others around the world and help them better learn and understand English. This is the dream behind the HARD-BOILED ENGLISH video project. My students and I are making several video series, including our long-from ENGLISH WEIRDNESS, that offer insights, lessons, and discussions about the English language, and how to learn it.

Thank you for joining us here, and enjoy our Hard-Boiled English videos. For more information, and to see our line of merchandise, go to our website:
