Someone I know even objected to standing sideways for a picture because they did not want their fat belly to be obvious. But the real concern goes beyond appearances.

Hello there! I want to share my journey to hopefully inspire and encourage fellow senior women embarking on a similar path. 3 years ago, at 70+ years old, I faced a turning point in my life. Diagnosed as pre-diabetic with high blood pressure and elevated cholesterol, I knew changes were necessary. Over the course of a year, I went from weighing 149 lbs to 125 lbs. It wasn't easy, but it was absolutely worth it!

To all the amazing women over 60 out there, yes, it is possible to lose weight and regain control of your health, even when it feels like the odds are stacked against you. Here are a few things I've learned along the way:

๐Ÿ˜Œ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—ž๐—ฒ๐˜†: Transformations don't happen overnight. It takes time, dedication, and consistency, but every small step counts.

๐Ÿ‘‚๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—•๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐˜†: As we age, our bodies change. What worked before might not work now, and that's okay. Adjust your strategies and find what suits you best.
