Happy Memorial Day Everyone, today we share part 3 of the interview with Don Morrison, we talk more historical facts about the Jay Village Green, such as the local Minute Men troops practicing on the green in the 1800’s, deep, historical information on the Band Stand, and what Don is hoping the town will do for the future of the park and band stand. DON MORRISON - DEDICATED COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER SERIES - Part 2 is live now on our YouTube page. Don and His Wife Connie talk more about the things they did over the years at the Jay Village Green, along with other community volunteers, we also start digging deep into the park’s history, the fountain, bandstand, it’s history and importance, and how Don made sure to bring back the bandstand’s original colors of green and white as it was originally painted when built generations ago.

We are starting off Spring with a great interview series with Don Morrison, Jay, NY Resident, Dedicated Community Volunteer.
We couldn't see a better way to Celebrate Earth Day 2023 then by beginning our journey with Don and His Wife Connie talking about how they began there lives here in Jay together (Connie was born here), and saving and rehabbing our loved Jay Village Green & Lovingly Restoring the 1800's bandstand in the park over the last 40 years.
Tune in and follow along with the interview, which will be broke down into several parts. Each video will be around 15 minutes each, and we will be releasing a new video from this series every 2 weeks until its completion. We talk about Don, The Village Green, Historical Information, and his various charity work throughout his time here in our area.
