Public Service Announcement

We’ve noticed an increase in dogs running loose at homes we’re called to recently. While we understand you may not always know when we’re coming, we want to remind everyone of an important safety step:

Please secure your dogs before officers arrive. Even if your dog is normally friendly, remember — we’re strangers to them, and they may just be trying to protect their home.

This helps prevent situations where a dog could become scared, act aggressively, or accidentally run away.

We love dogs as much as anyone, and the last thing we want is for an officer or a pet to get hurt when it could easily be avoided.

Thank you for helping keep both our officers and your furry family members safe!

Pushing aside the Government Shutdown, we’re glad Bob Latta has given the tours at the U.S. Capital to the Upper Sandusky Middle School 8th Graders!

Upper Sandusky Middle School came to the U.S. Capitol with a lot of energy and great questions! It was my pleasure to give these eighth graders a personal tour of the Capitol. These tours are an engaging and important way for students to experience American civics firsthand.

Due to complications with our all bear led Taylor Swift tribute band “Bearlor Swift”’s fog machine, Carey Schools will be on a TWO HOUR DELAY!! We might be able to shake it off later this morning.
