I have to brag on Abe, Brooke and the team at Appalachian Marketing and Media for a minute. 💜

They’ve spent the past several weeks listening to my ideas, asking questions, making adjustments, and somehow taking all the things I had in my head (including a few things I couldn't quite explain) and turning them into something that feels very much like Bravely Created.

I’m so grateful for the care they put into this project, and especially grateful they didn’t start cringing every time they saw my name pop up. 😂

I really thought August was a slow month…until I started scrolling back through my camera roll, which basically said, “Ma’am, I beg to differ.” 😂

There were calligraphy classes and commissions, live events, a graduation, and some really lovely moments. But then…the storms rolled through. ⛈️

We lost part of the fence, trees came down around the neighborhood and one landed on a friend’s car (incredibly, with no damage whatsoever!), and August just got sassy.

And because apparently nothing about this month was as slow as I’d claimed at the beginning of it, my Christmas cactus bloomed. In August. 🤪

It was busy, messy, and good.

But August, you were a lot.
