✨ Saturday, May 24th, Crows Nest Pictures and the Kuyahoora Community Center hosted the Newport Short Film Showcase! Thank you to all the people and business’ that made this event possible! And thank you to all of the talented filmmakers that allowed us to show their films, we felt honored to be able to bring an event like this to Newport and to be able to showcase the immense talent from the area. ✨

We hoped everyone enjoyed and follow us to stay updated on future projects and events!

We’re thrilled to share the official lineup for tomorrow night’s Newport Short Film Showcase, cohosted by Kuyahoora Community Hall and Crows Nest Pictures.

Where: 7408 S. Main St, Newport
When: 6:00 PM
Extras: Free basket raffle with tons of goodies!

Our team talked about everything from the creative process to our inspirations when it comes to filmmaking, and how we came to be as a group. Hey all! We’re teaming up with Kuyahoora Community Hall to bring you the Newport Short Film Showcase!

Come watch short films by local filmmakers—including our own movie, filmed right at the venue! 🙌

Crows Nest Pictures is partnering with MVCC School of Art and Film Utica to present a night of short films, along with our movie, “The Haunting of Hannamacher Hall,” on February 21st, 2025, at 6 PM in Schafer Theatre at MVCC. Doors will open at 5:30 PM. Admission is free!

Check out the official poster for The Haunting of Hannamacher Hall!

The film is a comedy about a group of eccentric ghost-hunting influencers who tour the old Hannamacher Hall at night. All is fun and games for their YouTube channel until they find out the hall might actually be haunted.

Expect an official trailer and release date soon, we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on 👻🎥🐴
