FMN Creative, helmed by Francesca Orsomarso, was one of 12 very deserving businesses that was awarded $15,000 from an MWBE microenterprise grant. As a digital marketer and nonprofit consultant Francesca is on a mission to help purpose-driven organizations make a social impact via strategic social media. She founded FMN Creative in 2016 to connect brands to their online audiences. As an alumna of Utica University, Francesca has maintained an active internship program since 2017, providing entry-level job opportunities upon successful completion. As a lifelong Utica resident, she sees the potential in our area and is on a mission to use social media for good.

I am so thankful to be one of the inaugurual recipients of the City of Utica’s first MWBE Microenterprise Grant! 🎉 FMN Creative was awarded this grant to grow and expand our services for purpose and mission-driven organizations.

It was even better to accept this award alongside 11 fellow recipients, including my friend Alex Nicolette of Bloom Nutrition Solutions!

A fellow award recipient, Dr. Julia Jaikin of Central New York Spine and Rehab, said it best, “They say it takes a village, but in this case it takes a CITY!”

As a NYS Certified WBE, I am so thankful to have a city that believes in what we are building at FMN Creative and trusts us to grow our local economy!

Big thanks to Mayor Michael Galime, Leigha Kimball, Jack Spaeth, and The City of Utica, NY who made this award possible!

So fitting to have the award ceremony at thINCubator. It was Ryan Miller (Rust Belt Startup) who not only believed in the idea of FMN and has mentored me since day one, but pushed me to consider applying for this grant.

We have had a BUSY Spring around here! 🌸 From events to new team members, our agency is making moves!

We recently welcomed our newest team member, Bella Yaghy, to our Creative Crew!

Our team was proud to be a vendor in the small business expo at the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting at Hart's Hill Inn!

We were able to chat with local business owners in our community and understand how their social media is making an impact.
