✨ It’s the FINAL day of LIZMAS! ✨

And we’re ending the week with one of the most joyful places in our region the Utica Children's Museum!🧒🎉🧩

I had the chance to chat with Megan, the Executive Director, and this space is truly something special. With 60+ exhibits and hands-on experiences, the museum celebrates the science, art, history, and diverse cultures of the Mohawk Valley. It’s a place that helps kids (and adults!) love where they live while inspiring a lifelong love of learning. 💛🌍

With winter break coming up, the museum is ready for your family:
✨ Lots of special programming
✨ Open most of the break (closed only on holidays)
✨ A perfect spot for play, curiosity, and making memories

Inside you’ll find:

I stopped by Art of Beauty Skin Care Oneida, where I got to meet Alyssa, your new glow-bestie who will make you feel amazing inside and out. She works out of Be Well Therapies Studio, which is truly a haven: massages, nail services, a sauna, skincare, and a whole lot of “time for you.” 🌿💆‍♀️✨

✨ Day 2 of LIZMAS! ✨

Today I visited one of the sweetest holiday traditions in our area, The Not-So-Tiny Nutcracker Display at the Oneida County History Center in Utica! 🎄💫

The History Center is a nonprofit dedicated to keeping Oneida County’s stories alive through exhibits, programs, and their amazing library and archives. And this festive nutcracker exhibit is a perfect example of that mission in action. ❤️

The collection comes from Joann Gerace, whose nutcrackers were once displayed at Tiny’s Grill. When the restaurant was sold, the History Center became their new home so the community could continue to enjoy them year after year. ✨

🕰️ Open Tuesday–Saturday, 10–4:
Come explore the nutcrackers, do the scavenger hunt, color, create, and spend a day getting into the holiday spirit!
