Fire was isolated to one room

Male was transported to the hospital

11:30 AM Update from PD: The male victim is a 40 yr old Vacaville resident who is in critical condition

CHP has shut down several lanes on I-680S bridge to handle the situation

Traffic is being effected leaving Benicia, heading into Martinez

Benicia FD responded & was released by the US Coast Guard

1:30 PM - The emergency is now over with all lanes open

4:00 PM - I'm receiving reports this was a very successful incident and everyone got to go home

The male patient set off a fire extinguisher in the ambulance, they pulled over and he jumped out

Last seen running into an orchard

CHP H-30 was overhead assisting with the search efforts but has cleared the area

The patient was from Placer County

Per radio traffic the patient description:
White Male Adult
Blonde Hair
5' 10"
25 yrs old
Wearing all green

2:22 PM - A sighting was seen in the area of Sievers Rd & Schroeder Rd - CHP & SO Deputies are responding

2:30 PM - The male is now in protected custody

Fatal - 4th Alarm Residential Structure Fire, Vacaville (in the county)
7000 block of Chisamore Ranch Ln, close cross is Timm Rd
2:45 PM - Saturday - 9/12/26

Propane tanks were on fire & relieving pressure (can be heard in video)

3:00 PM - Fire spread to vegetation

3:18 PM - Another structure became involved

3:45 PM - Forward progress of vegetation fire had been stopped

5:00 PM - All fires are under control

The house completely burned down
