Today, we want to take a moment to thank and celebrate Jalynn Alecia Carter for the time, love, and dedication she has poured into the youth of our community through Royal Academy. 💜

As a Youth Development Specialist at both Hudson Dockett and Ora Lee West, Ja’lynn has made a lasting impact on so many young lives. From mentoring our P.R.E.T.T.I. Girls to serving as an instructor for the I Am Royal Liturgical Dance Team, she has created meaningful connections with our youth through her guidance, support, and dedication. The bond she has built with our youth and families is truly special, and her presence will deeply be missed.
While we are sad to see her transition from this role, we are also incredibly proud of her as she continues pursuing her college education and the many goals and dreams ahead of her. We pray God’s blessings over her future endeavors and know she will continue to shine wherever life takes her.
Thank you, Ja’lynn, for your service, your heart, and the love you have shown our community. You will always be a part of the Valdosta Housing Authority family. 💫
