What a great night at Valdosta Elks Lodge #728 last night!! Our Annual Night of Giving saw $29,500 given back to our local community in the form of donations to some of our favorite local non-profit organizations! These groups work tirelessly in service to our community have a great impact on our Valdosta/Lowndes County area. What an honor it is to be able to "give back" to these support agencies. Our honorees include: Break Bread Together, Mildred Hunter Center, ACTO, Second Harvest Food Bank, Living Bridges, BACA, Partnership Cancer, Elks Aidmore, Vet Team Six, Lowndes High FFA, Lowndes Middle FFA, KB Horse Camp, and Valdosta Toys for Tots.
A special THANK YOU to the Valdosta Elks Aidmore Auxiliary for their total donations of $12,000 that was presented to 6 of these non-profits. This represented many hard nights running the Bingo Concession Stand this past year, of which they donate ALL of the profits to local charities! The Elks were proud to join with them in donating another $17,500 for a total of $29,500! Elks Care, Elks Share!
