We’re just under 24 hours away from going live in our brand-new studio!

Everything is still on track for Brad to kick things off LIVE as we make the official handoff from our old studio to the new one.

He’s been on the mend for the better part of the week, but we’re excited to have the head honcho himself help usher in this next chapter.

A special thank you to our partners at Gigabyte Grove for helping us get settled and making sure we have everything we need to make this move possible.

We’ll see you live tomorrow, June 1st, at Noon ET!

Alright folks, we’re coming down to the wire for the new studio switchover.

As of right now, we’re hoping to do something special for the transition, though it has not been officially set in stone just yet. Brad has been under the weather, but in true Brad fashion, he seems to think he may be able to push through and make it happen.

Of course, the last time we tried to secure Brad for actual on-air work, the man had pneumonia, a sinus infection, and then — because apparently that still wasn’t dramatic enough — one of our transmitters decided to go down about an hour before we were supposed to put him in front of a microphone. So instead of doing radio, Brad had to rush out and meet an engineer.

So naturally, we are approaching this with cautious optimism, a backup plan, and probably a bottle of cough medicine nearby.

The current plan is on June 1st, 2026 to do a 15-minute dark stop set (stop all music, just dead air) as the station transitions over to the new studio at Gigabyte Grove. The switchover is expected to begin at approximately 11:45 AM ET, with Brad coming on the air around 11:55 AM ET to talk about the station, the challenges of keeping All Oldies 24/7 as close as possible to Bruce’s original vision, and just how long this reimage has been in the works, with the new Top Hour marker being kicked off as close to the Noon Hour ET as possible. And trust us, you're gonna wanna hear it!

This has been a long time coming. There have been a lot of moving parts, and it took quite a while to get all the puzzle pieces in the right order. We do still have some additional work scheduled at the new studio over the July 4th holiday, but that is mostly to clean up any loose ends we did not get wrapped up in time for the move window — because nothing says “holiday weekend” quite like cable management, labeling equipment, and pretending the pile of “we’ll deal with that later” items is smaller than it actually is.

But we’re almost there.

Thank you all for sticking with us, supporting the station, and being part of the All Oldies 24/7 family as we begin this next chapter from Gigabyte Grove.

Howdy folks, Brad here.

I want to take a minute to speak directly to the All Oldies 24/7 listener base and explain where things stand, why changes are being made, and what we are trying to accomplish.

I’ll start by saying this: I do not enjoy having to come on here and post things like this. I am traditionally pretty hands-off when it comes to social media and prefer to let our staff handle the day-to-day presence of the station. But because there seems to be some concern and confusion about the direction of All Oldies 24/7, I feel it is important to address it directly.

Some people seem to believe that the changes being made are about erasing what All Oldies 24/7 has been, or disrespecting the legacy of the station. This has been made clear by messages we've received and comments posted talking about how "we are destroying the legacy of this station".

That is not the case.

If our goal was to turn All Oldies 24/7 into something completely different, we would not have waited four years to start making changes. We would have done that right away.

When Ventra Radio acquired All Oldies 24/7 in July of 2022, we already had two oldies stations in our own portfolio one in Syracuse, New York and another in Watertown, New York. Instead of keeping all three of them separate, or trying to compete with what All Oldies 24/7 had already built, both of those stations were absorbed into All Oldies 24/7 and which then had AllOldies 24/7 become HD subchannel of their parent stations. That decision was made because we respected the strength of All Oldies 24/7, its audience, and what had already been built.

From day one, we took on a station that already had a loyal following, an established identity, and real operating expenses. Since then, we have worked to keep the station running, keep the music going, and keep the spirit of All Oldies 24/7 intact.

But there is also a practical side to this that needs to be understood.

All Oldies 24/7 is a radio station, but it is also a business operation. It has licensing costs, streaming costs, hosting costs, software costs, broadcast delivery costs, website costs, automation costs, technical maintenance costs, and additional expenses tied to being carried as an HD Radio subchannel in multiple markets.

For the past four and a half years being that All Oldies 24/7 is a commercial free radio station, those expenses have largely been carried by Ventra Radio, profits from our other media properties, and in many cases, directly out of my own pocket when there was a need.

We have never asked the listener base to contribute or donate, nor have we had any plans to do so. We have not put the station behind a paywall. We have not loaded it down with long commercial breaks. We have not turned it into something that feels nothing like All Oldies 24/7.

Internally, we have had conversations more than once about whether the station should become fully commercialized with regular ad breaks, live jocks, paid promotional spots, or other revenue-focused changes. Each time, our staff has decided against that because we want to preserve what people actually enjoy about the station.

But that also means there has to be some give and take.

We are always open to feedback. We listen to concerns. We understand that not every listener is going to love every change, and that is fair.

What is not realistic is expecting the station to reject every update, avoid every change, refuse every attempt to modernize, and still expect Ventra Radio to keep carrying the full cost of the station every month.

Unless listeners want All Oldies 24/7 to start accepting donations, charging for access, or filling the station with commercial breaks, there has to be room for the people actually paying the bills to make responsible decisions about the station we are fiscally responsible for.

All Oldies 24/7 has to become more sustainable. That does not mean changing what people love about it. The music, the memories, and the identity of the station still matter. But the way the station is managed, presented, supported, and operated has to improve.

Right now, All Oldies 24/7 depends too heavily on resources from the rest of Ventra Radio. That cannot continue forever without affecting the other stations and media properties that also have bills, responsibilities, and futures to protect.

If we are not allowed room to make the changes needed to fix that, then eventually the responsible decision would be to close All Oldies 24/7 before it puts too much strain on everything else.

That is not what we want. That is what we are actively trying to avoid by changing what we're changing. These changes are not being made to take All Oldies 24/7 away from the people who love it. They are being made so the station has a real path forward.

If you would like to discuss this further, you are welcome to send this page a direct message. My staff will be happy to connect you with me directly so we can have that conversation.

Greetings everyone,

It was brought to our attention that the new All Oldies 24/7 website was accidentally made publicly accessible before it was ready. During that time, some listeners were able to create accounts and preview features that are still under active development.

To be clear, the new website has not officially launched yet, and it should not have been publicly available. Because the system is still being tested and configured, any accounts created during that unintended access period will be removed so development can continue properly.

We were made aware of the issue after a listener contacted us with concerns that their song requests were not being played. We appreciate that listener bringing it to our attention.

When the new website officially launches, we will also be introducing stricter request rules. In the past, some users have created multiple accounts or used different IP addresses in an attempt to control the flow of music on the station. Moving forward, that will not be allowed.

Our goal is to keep the request system fair for everyone. Every listener deserves a reasonable opportunity to hear the songs they want without a small number of users pushing others out of the rotation.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to sharing the new All Oldies 24/7 website with you when it is ready.

A quick programming note for our All Oldies 24/7 listeners:

We’re doing some prep work for our upcoming move into a studio located at Ventra One, on the Gigabyte Grove property.

Ventra One is what we call our main home base for Ventra Stations. Ventra Two is the name we give to our backup home base, and Ventra Three and up are used for other studios, and support spaces. It’s just a simple naming system so we know which location is which. :-)

Anyway, because of this work, online listening may be interrupted or temporarily unavailable at times during the week of May 10–16 while we place a temporary broadcast system online and move our main production unit to the new studio.

This will not affect our AM or HD feeds, as those are delivered through dedicated over the air studio links to their respective sites.

We apologize in advance for any interruption and appreciate your patience while we complete the move.

Just a reminder that All Oldies 24/7 is moving to its new home in the Spark Rack.com studio at Gigabyte Grove on June 1, and as part of that move, listeners may begin hearing some updated station imaging before or around then.

We don’t want anyone to worry. Nothing about the heart of the station is changing. This is still the same All Oldies 24/7 that Bruce founded, playing the same great music and carrying the same spirit listeners have known and loved for over a decade.

The updated imaging is simply a much-needed refresh to mark the station’s new home, while preserving the roots that made All Oldies 24/7 special in the first place.

We're also hard at work on a new website to usher in the new chapter for All Oldies 24/7. Thank you for all your support over the years!

Wow! We’re incredibly happy to hear that our sister station, 103.7 Rewind FM, has received such a warm welcome from the community.

Two stations, seven decades, and some of the best music ever made.

From 50s doo-wop, 60s shimmer, 70s rock, 80s hair bands, 90s grunge, 2000s pop-punk and alt-rock, and the early 2010s surge, we’re proud to help keep the music that shaped generations alive and on the air.

Let’s make sure we keep showing love to the stations that still believe the classics matter, because honestly, there aren’t many of us left. Mainstream radio is starting to sound more and more the same, and we’re proud to be part of something different.

Just remember who brought you the classics when everyone else was trying to make everything sound alike.

Together, we’re proud to be your classic hits stations.

Big news for our Valdosta, Georgia listeners!

Effective May 1, 103.7 Rewind FM (our HD 5 sister station) will move to the main feed on HD 1, while All Oldies 24/7 will remain on HD 2, continuing to bring you the greatest music from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s around the clock.

Then, on June 1, All Oldies 24/7 will officially move into its new home at Gigabyte Grove, as originally planned.

To be clear, this change only affects the Valdosta, Georgia market. It does not affect Syracuse or any other All Oldies 24/7 listening options.

Also, Brad gave us permission to share a little sneak peek of some of the new imaging for 103.7 Rewind FM, which you’ll hear in the video attached to this post. Once some of the new All Oldies 24/7 imaging comes in, we’ll share a sneak peek of that too.

Don’t worry, though — we’re not going to spoil all the surprises.

All Oldies 24/7 isn’t going anywhere. We’re staying on HD 2 in Valdosta, and we’re getting ready for our move to Gigabyte Grove on June 1.

Big things are happening at AllOldies247.

After months of planning, prep work, and getting everything ready behind the scenes, the station will officially relocate to Gigabyte Grove on June 1st.

Until now, AllOldies247 has been operating from satellite studios while the groundwork was being laid for this move, and we are excited to finally say the day is almost here. This is something that has been in the works for months, and it marks a major step forward for the station.

So why Gigabyte Grove? Because it makes sense in every possible way.

Gigabyte Grove is a family homestead run by the owner of Ventra Radio, and bringing the station there helps cut operating costs, keeps it close for better monitoring, and gives the studio something most traditional setups do not have, flexibility. Because it is located on a homestead, the studio can be moved anywhere on the property as needed, giving AllOldies247 a setup that is practical, adaptable, and built for the future.

This move is also part of a bigger picture. Ventra Radio and its parent company are part of a family of companies, and centralizing operations at Gigabyte Grove creates maximum efficiency. With sister stations and sibling companies like Spark Rack, BeyondNerd, and Ventra Digital all connected under that same family, bringing everything together on one property allows for better coordination, shared resources, easier oversight, and a stronger foundation moving forward.

This is not just a move. It is the next chapter.

Same great oldies. New home base. A smarter future. Officially beginning June 1st.
