George Lucas is world famous for creating Star Wars but his Hall H panel wasn't about Star Wars. He's leaving behind his legacy by establishing a Narrative Museum to honor artists and creators that came before him and to those behind the scenes that often don't get recognized. Actors and celebrities of hit films get recognized all the time but an artist that inspired him to become a visual story teller or an illustrator that contributed to our favorite films can get recognized in the spotlight. George has been collecting art for over 50 years. He wants to share it not to make a ton of money selling it off at auction. It's great that George Lucas wants to share his collection and give it to the world to see and hopefully inspire a new generation of artists and craftsmen.

To celebrate Women's History Month, The Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills screened Wonder Woman (2017) in 70mm on Sunday, March 12, 2024. Director Patti Jenkins made a special in-person appearance for a Q&A session after the film. Audience members were delighted that Cinematographer Matthew Jensen was also there to join the panel.

Well known for her work on Catwoman, LadyKiller, and Supergirl - Fan favorite comic artist Joelle Jones made a guest appearance to greet fans at an exclusive signing at the DSTLRY Booth at San Diego Comic Con on Sunday, July 23, 2023. Joelle was featured at several panels and signings along with other big name artists and writers during the 4 day convention including Jock, Tula Lotay, Becky Cloonan, Scott Snyder, Mirka Andolfo, and others to promote the new creator owned comics Publisher, DSTLRY.

On Thursday, August 4, "Prey" premiered at the Aero theater in Santa Monica. Director Dan Trachtenberg and Producer Jhane Myers were there in person to introduce the film. There were 2 screenings at 7pm and 9pm. The 2nd 9pm screening was not only a unique opportunity to see this on the big screen but was also an Exclusive version in the Comanche Native American language with English subtitles. If you are a fan of Predator 1 and 2 then this film is definitely for you! It streams on Hulu on Friday, August 5.

The Combat Radio Christmas Carol Event was held at The Canyon on November 17, 2019

A live show benefit supporting Combat Radio's work with Social Services was held on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at The Canyon in Santa Clarita. A live audience interactive reading of a Christmas Carol featured talent from The Simpsons, Twin Peaks, Justice League, Family Guy, Futurama, General Hospital, Avengers Assemble, Star Wars Resistance, and more. A rock concert followed featuring some of the members of Guns N Roses, Quiet Riot, Danzig, and Type O Negative. Costumed super heroes and members of the 501st made a special appearance for photo ops with the guests and attendees.

Known for having the most extensive vintage Paintball collection in the world, Bacci Paintball and PaintballHistory.com travels to many paintball events sharing and educating players and attendees with it's traveling paintball museum of rare markers and paintball gear.

Linh's 7th Annual Paintball Charity Event 2018

On Sunday, December 9, 2018, over 320 paintball players showed up at Action Star Paintball in Perris, California for Linh Truong's 7th Annual Paintball Charity Event.

This year raffle proceeds went to the family of Jung Hong and Gardens of Innocence. Cal State University Art lecturer Jung Hong died of cancer on August 28. Jung taught graphic design and served as a part time faculty member at CSUN for over 17 years. In the world of paintball, he was known for many designs created for Khrome Paintball. Garden of Innocence provides dignified burials for abandoned & unidentified children.

Many sponsors attended this year, including CC Paintball, UQL, Push Paintball, and crowd favorite Bacci Paintball with his mobile history paintball museum, PaintballHistory.com. Of course, for lunch, Pops Tacos returned to many delighted attendees. Games spanned up to 3 fields combined with as many as 80 players per side with respawns to extend longer game play to accommodate the crowd.

Special guests showed up to promote and help run the event with notable paintball team members from Destiny and superstar Destiny Team Captain Bea Youngs assisting with the raffle draw.
