The official POV of MonteZOOMa: The Forbidden Fortress at is here!

When Montezooma’s Revenge launched in 1978, it was the tallest roller coaster in the world. Nearly five decades later, it’s the oldest looping shuttle coaster still standing in its original location, an official ACE Coaster Landmark, and a rite of passage for anyone who grew up in Southern California.

Now the legend has been reborn. New launch system. New story. Same 0 to 55 in seconds flat, forward AND backward through that iconic loop.

We had the honor of capturing the official POV for this historic reopening, and we’re covering Media Day today!

Three of our favorite words.

And this one earned it. The world's first giga dive coaster: 309 feet tall, 87 mph, a 95° drop, six world records in a single ride. One of the biggest engineering feats we've had the chance to shoot.

There are some projects that remind you why you love what you do.

Filming Tormenta at Six Flags Over Texas was one of those moments.

This isn’t just another coaster. This is a monumental attraction that pushed the limits of what’s possible in the world of thrill rides, breaking records and creating an experience unlike anything else.

From the speed, the intensity, the engineering, and the incredible team behind the attraction, we were honored to bring our cameras and capture the story behind this groundbreaking coaster.

After hearing “You’ll be back…” approximately 7,462 times during media week, that phrase became the unofficial soundtrack of production.

We went to Six Flags Over Texas to shoot the commercial and b-roll package for Tormenta: Rampaging Run, the world’s first giga dive coaster. Riders, POV, FPV, aerials, all of it in one package.

Capturing a 309 foot, 87 mph, six-time world record breaker takes every tool in the kit. From ground level reactions to drone shots following the track, every frame was crafted to make you feel that 95° drop before you ever board the train.

Huge thanks to the team at Six Flags for trusting us with a piece of coaster history and to our incredible cast and crew who made every shot count.
