Pleased to meet you, we are KCIA radio~!

We are so excited to introduce Sue Jackson as our new Program Director, and congratulate Ella Berke on their new position as Station Manager !!

We manage student radio shows, host live DJ and music sets, and are going to be working towards bringing some local LA bands to perform at calarts this year. 👀

Look out for announcements and flyers around school about upcoming events and opportunities we have planned!!

Submit a form (which is in our LINKTREE) by Oct. 19th to receive one of your preferred times this semester.
(If you don’t submit by that date, you can still be scheduled, but there will be less of a chance for you to receive the times you like.)

HIRING: Calarts Station Manager Fall 2025 💿 !!!

We are looking for a CURRENT STUDENT to take the reins as our next Station Manager!

What You’ll Do -

🎙️Work directly with our Program 📞Director, Tech and Marketing Managers!
🔎Oversee daily operations of the station
🎒Organize body meetings
🧑‍💻Budget and Planning Tracking

What We’re Looking For -

💪Strong leadership and communication skills
💽A love for music and community engagement
🎨Creative thinking and problem solving skills
📻Willingness to help rebuild radio at Calarts!

Position is up to 10 hr/week and PAID!

New Djs are required to attend one training!! Trainings last around an hour and will allow us to show you equipment, confirm showtime, practice, and answer any questions you may have!!!

Training Dates/Times:
Monday 17th at 1pm, Tuesday 18th at 12pm, Wednesday 19th at 1pm, Thursday 20th at 11am, Friday 21st at 11am ! Take your pick.

Old Djs, feel free to stop by if you need extra practice as well!

Bands, Musicians, Auditory Artists; we need you! Sign up to be a part of KCIA’s Fire Relief Festival. ALL funds will go towards supporting victims of the LA fires - specifically folks in Altadena.

We are STILL collecting donations for victims of the LA fires EVERY WEEKDAY!!
We are seeking canned goods, non-perishable foods, hygienic products, bottled water, Unused underwear and socks, toilet paper, paper towels, bottled water, 1-gallon ziploc bags, toilet paper, and many things - just NOT clothes. NO Clothes, NO shoes, and NO toys!Please bring food/items to the station, room D211.

We are urgently seeking canned goods, hygiene products, bottled water, and gently used clothing. Please bring food/items to the station, room D211.
