I am so lucky and honored to help out with this awesome cause. To most people Lake Gaston is just a party spot, but to us who live here full time, this is where we live, eat, and play and we love supporting local families in need as well as area Fire/EMS and police departments.

After a short summer break Party Time Music was back out on the wedding trail down in Goldsboro Friday night to celebrate the new Mr. & Mrs. Josh Phillips.

I met Amber, the Bride, on a bachelorette ride on The Gaston last summer which led to her and one of her Bridesmaids booking me to be their wedding DJ at both of their weddings, how cool is that!

Amber and Josh’s love story was celebrated by family and friends, and man were they ready to party!

LKG locals might recognize the Bride’s Father, Mike Griffin, from Performance Fiberglass, he is the best in the business for repairs and restorations.

As a full time wedding DJ I get to meet the nicest people in the world and get to become a small part of their love story.

This couple’s love story began a few years ago when Jenn went to Australia to study Biology and met this great fella in Pat. They made a connection while Jenn was there studying but as life would have she would return back to the states when she finished her Biology program. Broken hearted and still in love Pat packed up his bags and came to the US in hopes of finding Jenn and rekindling their relationship, and low in behold he found her! After a cross country trip in a van they both knew that they would hold each others hearts forever. After a beautiful wedding ceremony here on Lake Gaston they returned back to Australia and are now married expecting their first child! How cool is that.

They made a quick visit home to visit family here at Lake Gaston and chartered our boat, The Gaston, to entertain family and friends.

I’ll say it again, I have the best job in the world and thanks Pat and Jenn for letting me tag along in y’all’s love story!

Sunday weddings are always special, they just have a whole different vibe that fit this couple perfectly. Surrounded by family and friends James and Sarah started the next chapter of their love story at White Oak Manor.

The heat was immense but God delayed the storms so that this wonderful marriage could take place as planned and it went perfectly.

The love , best wishes, and happiness can best be seen on their faces in the pics and Sarah was such a beautiful Bride.

Man this sure was a fun one! The BARN at Hillcrest Farm was the perfect setting for this beautiful couple to write the next chapter in their love story. From the calm, peaceful ceremony setting to a fun filled room with attention to every detail, The Barn at Hillcrest checks all the boxes!

Some weddings just hit differently. A relaxed Bride and Groom, a super fun guest list, the right venue, the right DJ with the right music, all contribute to the best wedding experience you can have!

Allison and Mitchell trusted their vendors to produce a memorable, fun wedding experience, and I think we understood the assignment, all the smiles in the pics tell the story.
