Valier Library Summer Reading went out with a blast! The kids had a wonderful time this summer learning about the ocean, pirates and how to survive on a deserted island! Our end of the year party was attended by 17 youths. To qualify for the drawing they had to read at least one book this summer.

Check out this week's issue for more photos from the end of the year party.

Mother Nature was in a good mood Saturday as Dupuyer celebrated Grizzly Days 2022. The mild weather made for an enjoyable day of fun, food and friendship.

The day kicked off with the Firemen’s Pancake Breakfast at the Dupuyer Fire Hall. Attendance was average, but they ran out of eggs and blamed the chickens for “not keeping up.”

The Bear Paw 4-H Club’s Shyanna Leon led a cooperative lamb into the auction ring at this year’s 4-H Fair.

This year, the 4-H Fair held near Charging Home Stampede Park during and in advance of the Celebration of Healing was, by any measure, a true success. Young people were supported by phalanxes of adult volunteers who worked with them to prepare the exhibition barn, food service area and parking around the site.
