The Szymanowski Quartet will be celebrating its 30th anniversary next month with the premiere of Guillaume Connesson's "Four Elements," a work dedicated to them and fellow Polish musician Krzysztof Urbańsk. Commissioned by the Bern Symphony Orchestra, the Warsaw National Philharmonic, and the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana, the piece will receive its premiere at the end of November in the Casino Bern. Krzysztof Urbański will be the conductor. "Four Elements" will be performed in December in the hometown of the Karol Szymanowski Quartet. Another performance is planned for March 2026 in Lugano.
