The Poetry Out Loud Competition, Spring 26' registration is open for 9th-12th grade students! Solano County Teachers, non-profits, and homeschoolers are invited to host a student and be a part of this incredible opportunity. Students can share their creative voices via a competition with a chance to win prizes for yourself and your school or organization. No fees to participate!
Students will select poems from PoetryOutLoud.org, bringing their unique voices to life on stage. This is a fun way to grow your skills and compete for the chance to participate in a nationwide celebration of poetry.

VCAT family!!! There is still more this National Poetry Month weekend from Vallejo Co-Poets Laureate Jacalyn Eyvonne and Kathleen Herrmann. Join us for TeaHouse Poetry in a cozy, artsy environment at the IntegriTEA Space, 717 Marin St., in Vallejo. We offer a safe, welcoming environment where you can join the open mic, read your original poetry or favorite work of another, sip tea, or listen and relax. The afternoon begins tomorrow, Sunday, April 13th, 2:00 - 4:00 pm.

Friday, April 11th: Ekphrastic Poetry Event Join us at the Temple Arts Lofts Gallery for "Poetry Speaks to Art" — an evening where poets share original works inspired by art pieces. View the exhibition during the Art Walk starting at 5:00 PM, with poetry readings beginning at 6:00 PM.
Sunday, April 13th: TeaHouse Poetry Connect with our community of poets and poetry enthusiasts at our monthly gathering at IntegriTea Space (717 Marin Street, Vallejo).
The event begins at 2:00 PM.

This marks Lee's first-ever visit to the City of Vallejo, and we warmly invite you to join us for this special occasion.
