NADINE JETT UPDATE: Tuesday afternoon the judge in the joint case of Cedric Von Ferdinand and Raymond Alto ordered both defendants bound over for trial, with the arraignment to be held on September 23. The judge declared there was enough evidence to proceed with the case on all 41 counts.

Tuesday afternoon the judge in the joint case of Cedric Von Ferdinand and Ray Alto ordered both defendants bound over for trial, with the arraignment to be held on September 23. The judge declared there was enough evidence to proceed with the case on all 41 counts.

Nadine Jett Case Update: Preliminary Hearing for Cedric Von Ferdinand and Raymond Alto

The preliminary hearing for Cedric Von Ferdinand (pictured) and Raymond Alto, defendants in the Nadine Jett case, took place at the San Diego Superior Court, Central Courthouse. Both men pleaded not guilty to multiple fraud charges related to the alleged exploitation of Nadine Jett.

Evidence Presented

During the hearing, prosecutors presented evidence, including:
• Transfer of Property Documents: Quitclaim deeds were filed, transferring ownership of Jett's properties to Von Ferdinand.
• Bank Statements: Records showed hundreds of thousands of dollars were wired from Jett's account to Von Ferdinand's account after he was added to her account. These transactions included wire transfers and multiple ATM cash withdrawals exceeding $1,000.

Next Steps

The hearing concluded at 4:40 p.m. and is set to resume on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Von Ferdinand and Alto face serious charges, including forgery, identity theft, and grand theft, with allegations that their fraudulent activities resulted in losses exceeding $500,000 .

Nadine Jett's family, including her foster daughters, the Lucci quadruplets, have been seeking justice and answers surrounding her death and the alleged exploitation of her estate .
