📚A native of Ann Arbor and longtime resident of Cleveland, Delores is an accomplished educator, author, and community leader with a lifelong commitment to education and civic engagement. 😮💨 📝
A graduate of Spelman College and Cleveland State University, she dedicated more than 27 years to teaching social studies in the Public Schools of Cleveland while also mentoring new educators and supervising pre-service teachers. 💥
📚She is the author and co-author of several educational and inspirational works, including Do You Know? A Survey of the Black Experience in America and Your First 30 Minutes – The ABC’s of Successful Classroom Management.
Her extensive community involvement includes founding the Successful Classroom Management Initiative®, creating the “Release Your Power: VOTE!®” voter education project, and establishing the Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Breakfast Celebration in Cleveland. 🎉
🏆 Recognized with numerous honors — including Fulbright Scholar distinction, the Woman of Excellence Award from Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and recognition from the late Congressman Louis Stokes — she continues to inspire through education, leadership, and service.🏅
