Presidents Biden & Trump are set for two debates outside of the Commission on Presidential Debates, working directly with media outlets. CNN is up first on June 27th in a TV studio with NO audience members present, which has not been done since the first TV debate between Nixon and Kennedy in 1960. Ironically, the current Kennedy will not be invited to the debates.

President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have both accepted an invitation from CNN to debate on June 27, a historically early showdown that will set the tone for the final months of the 2024 campaign.

Starting in 2026, most Americans will encounter tax increases due to the expiration of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) at the end of 2025. This change will occur without any action from Congress. Despite claims to the contrary by some politicians, the TCJA benefited a majority of Americans. As these tax cuts expire, a corresponding rise in taxes will inevitably follow.
