Maybe you have prayed the same desperate prayer:

“God, if You are really there… please say something.”

You have tried to change.
You have promised this time would be different.
But somehow, you keep falling back into the same struggle—and now the guilt is making you wonder whether God still wants you.

Please hear this:

God is not waiting for you to become perfect before you come home.

Your weakness does not disqualify you from His presence.
Your struggle does not mean He abandoned you.
And asking for help does not make you weak.

Jesus is not standing at a distance, ashamed of you.

He is calling you closer.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

You may feel like you have failed too many times—but grace was never reserved for people who never fall.
It is for people who finally stop pretending they can fight alone.

No. Neither do I. Scripture says, “There is no one righteous, not even one,” and that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” That is what makes grace so overwhelming. Jesus did not wait until you became worthy. He did not wait until you fixed yourself, cleaned up your past, or proved that you deserved another chance. He went to the cross while you were still a sinner. He shed His blood. He died. He rose again. And now forgiveness and salvation are offered to everyone who turns to Him in repentance and faith. Grace is not God pretending your sin never mattered. Grace is Jesus paying the price your sin required. “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8 You cannot earn this gift. Loving people who have hurt you does not mean pretending the pain never happened.

It does not mean excusing what they did.

It means refusing to let their actions decide who you become.

God loved you when you were lost. He stayed near when you pushed Him away. He gave you grace before you could ever earn it.

Now the prayer becomes:
