Another case of COVID-19 was found in Carter County today. The total number of cases is now nine as of Friday, July 17.

The CC Health Center said that case number eight of COVID-19 was confirmed earlier today.
They also clarified that since coronavirus activity is considered widespread across the nation they won't typically be releasing further information about possible points of contact.
Most surrounding counties have already published similar statements.
