What’s new? A show I mix sold to TruTV. We shoot the official season next week. I wrote a song for Party Bus To Hell movie, currently scoring and mixing Lost Dogs. Scoring The Campus. The video I recorded sound for,1-800 by artist Logic for Def Jam Records hit over 100 million views. It’s been an interesting Autumn.

A DP that I admire greatly refers to all the crew as "sir" or "ma'am." At first I thought it was arcane. But I also felt different about what I was doing. I was more present.
So I ran an experiment. I began to use "sir" and "ma'am" on all my shoots. Recording sound became more important. I was paying closer attention. I was more aware of the other crew members.
They seemed more focused as well, and talent seemed a little bit more at ease.
Producers asked for my number three times as before. Amazing what an effect a little respect can have.
