For the past few years, the Quest Pacifica team has quietly been helping bring something special to life behind the scenes.
Today, we’re excited to share the official trailer for Storm Rises: A Star Wars Fan Story.

What started as a father and daughter passion project during COVID eventually grew into a massive independent production involving more than 100 people, approximately 60 filming days, and over 700 visual effects shots.

Quest Pacifica handled post-production on the project, including editorial, VFX, color, sound, compositing, and finishing, with many portions of the film also shot on our soundstage.

We’re incredibly proud of everyone who helped make this happen and would love your support as we launch the official Quest Pictures Presents YouTube channel.

Hosted by Jason Earles (Hannah Montana), director Shannon Flynn, and writer Douglas Danger Lieblein, the podcast dives into the stories, memories, and behind-the-scenes moments that fans of Hannah Montana grew up loving.

We are incredibly grateful to be working with such a talented and passionate team, and Jeff Murphy is excited to be collaborating on the show as a co-producer.

The podcast is now being filmed and produced right here at Quest Pacifica, and it has been fantastic seeing our studio come alive with these conversations and the great energy from the entire crew.

Disney+ Launches First Vertical Series, Locker Diaries

Quest Pacifica is proud to have provided VFX support for Locker Diaries: Zombies. Projects like this are exciting because they represent where the industry is heading, as major studios explore new ways to deliver high-quality storytelling in modern formats.

With short-form and vertical viewing continuing to grow across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram, Disney+ is now embracing the format with the launch of its first vertical original series, Locker Diaries.

Designed specifically for vertical viewing, Locker Diaries delivers bite-sized stories that blend comedy, drama, and suspense, all set in school hallways and told through the unique perspective of open locker doors. The series also brings together characters from popular Disney franchises including Zombies, Descendants, and Phineas & Ferb, creating a fun and familiar world in a brand-new format.

We’re proud to share that Quest Pacifica has been authorized to receive Disney Tier 2 content.

After a comprehensive evaluation of our systems and workflows, The Walt Disney Studios has approved our facility to securely handle designated content from Disney General Entertainment and affiliated studios, such as; Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, and Pixar, when designated and approved by Disney.

This milestone represents years of investment in secure post-production pipelines and best-in-class practices—and we couldn’t be more grateful to our team and partners.

We’re proud to share that our CEO, Jeff Murphy, was a featured speaker — and honoree — at the Santa Clarita Valley Mayor’s Committee Annual Brunch, celebrating National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

Jeff spoke about the power of collaboration and inclusion in the film and television industry — and how partnering with neurodiverse artists has not only strengthened our creative community but elevated the work we do every day.

“When we include neurodiverse talent in the process, we don’t just expand the crew — we expand the possibilities.”

During the event, Jeff and Quest Pacifica LLC were recognized for our ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities, receiving honors from:
