THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 2 and
6 inches possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and
northwest Ohio.

* WHEN...From late Friday night through Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday
morning commutes and again late Friday night through Sunday
afternoon.

VAN WERT — A tradition that began with a single family helping neighbors in crisis has grown into one of Van Wert’s largest holiday outreach efforts, as Donna and James Stiffler hosted their 29th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner at Trinity Friends Church on Thursday. ❗️EVENT CANCELED DUE TO EXTREME WIND❗️

We regret to announce that Christmas at Fountain Park, scheduled for November 26th at 6:00 PM, has been canceled due to extreme wind conditions.

The safety of our community, volunteers, and equipment comes first. While we were excited to kick off the holiday season with you, the weather simply isn’t cooperating.

At this time, we do not know when the park will be lit up, as the extreme weather continues to impact plans. We will keep you updated as soon as we have more information.

🎄 However, we will still have Live Reindeer on December 7th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM! Be sure to join us for this magical holiday experience.

We are working again with Van Wert Forward renovate the historic Smith Garage building on the corner of E. Main and Walnut Streets to bring a large event venue specializing in weddings and receptions to downtown Van Wert . Introducing Walnut and Main Event Space.
