WHAT IS BRUTAL NATION? A podcast that delves into the dark world of lesser-known serial killers and acts of true crime from around the world. Each episode is delivered with an unexpected twist. Our researchers know that we can't just rely on Wikipedia to provide entirely accurate information. They comb through news articles, books, journal articles, blog posts, and court documents. The goal of our

show is to present as much information about each case without letting our natural bias get in the way. With every case, our number one goal when we begin the research process is to find at least one detail that others leave out because they do not feel it is important to the bigger picture. We try to format each episode to include all aspects of the case, not just the brutality of the action. Hosted by Scott Alexander & Tammy Underwood. ABOUT SCOTT ALEXANDER: Scott currently lives in the PacNW. He graduated from UC Long Beach with a minor in Basic Human Psychology. He's always had a fascination for humanity's dark side and a desire to figure out and understand the unexplained. We must warn you, Scott is known for his lack of filter and inability to take anything really seriously. People either love him or hate him. Those who rest in the middle don't know him at all. Listeners can't wait to find out what he's going to say next. One thing's for certain, it'll be something you never expected. ABOUT TAMMY UNDERWOOD: Tammy currently resides in the PacNW. She has had an intense fascination with the aspect of serial killers ever since she was a teenager. She knows first-hand how charming a serial killer can be to the world while they live their true lives in the shadows. In fact, in early 1993, a man that Tammy knew personally turned out to be a serial killer. When his arrest was announced, she was one of "those people" with their cliche lines, "He would have been the last person I expected to be responsible for these crimes." "He's so charming, he's rarely seen without a smile on his face." Not to mention, "He'd give the shirt off his back if he knew you didn't have anything to wear." She utilizes the knowledge she has gained from her life experiences to offer a unique perspective on the featured topics.
