Victim-blaming is wrong and destructive to the advancement of society. Stand up for your friends when you hear absurd statements like the ones in this video surrounding r**e and physical abuse.

Replacing "r**e" with "murder" reveals just how problematic victim-blaming is.

Insightful news story about s*xual assault statistics at University of Oregon and why 90% of people who had experienced s*xual assault don't want to report it to their university. Although numbers may vary, s*xual assault and dating violence occur on every campus.

This is yet another reminder of why it is so important to learn how to defend yourself because institutions, unfortunately, are not always able to help.

We would like to commend Professor Jennifer Freyd who did the study even though officials at U of O refused to fund it.

KATU’s On Your Side Investigators got a first look at shocking results from a s*xual assault survey at the University of Oregon. It’s the first scientific look at the actual number of s*x crimes at the school, including r**es.
