I first saw Stu Hamm play this at the first G3 tour when he played with Joe Satriani. I went home and spent the next six hours figuring it out, and for years I was a party favor if there was a bass or guitar there. Still one of the coolest and most fun things I've learned. A little sloppy right now, but still happy it's in the repertoire!

When I filled in for one of my clients when they lost their drummer before the CD release show... and our friend trolled us during the set!

The Ophidian Breeze album I produced and played on releases on the 11th! We've been working on it over the last three years, and excited to have it in a full format! Zi wrote a concept album out of the gate, and a single at a time doesn't tell the entire story. Check the singles now, and the album comes soon! Beth did a killer job on the vocals after being brought into the crazy world this project has been!

If you have a studio cat, you know.

STP had a unique way with their style, as this was coming out and being lumped in with the Seattle scene and grunge movement while having it's own flavor. The way they use the string bending harmony here is such a cool voicing!

I don't need to hop on the fear train. I can do what Suno can do already. Slower, sure. But it's mine, and I know exactly why every part is there. I could Suno before Suno could Suno.

Found Funeral For A Friend by accident... walking through the room and a show was being watched where their name popped up talking about another band as an influence. For some reason it stuck, and one day at the used CD store, this album was there. I put the record on to listen, and the first song - Rookie of the Year - grabbed me immediately. This song became one of my favorites... but to be honest, this is one of my favorite albums as well.

The tools are changing. The debate is the same.

The hilarious part was choosing one of my songs for background - the scream line landing on 'save me from saying things better left unsaid' was a happy accident! 🤣

This bass part at the intro is simple, yet still fun to listen to and play!

I still remember Mike Patton flopping like a fish at the end of the awards show... and one of the first songs I learned on piano from Faith No More being one of my favorite bands.
