Spent the weekend at the Mountain States Football Officials Camp, and it was time well spent. I had the opportunity to share experiences, discuss mechanics, and hopefully provide some valuable insight to the next generation of officials working to advance in the profession.

One of the best parts of officiating is that no matter where you are in your journey, there’s always something to learn and someone willing to help you get better. I appreciate everyone who participated.

Of course, it wasn’t all football. We also took a ride out to catch some live music at —a perfect way to unwind after a full day of football talk and film study.

Thanks to everyone at the camp for a great weekend. Looking forward to seeing where these officials go next.

Elite hoops kind of night 🏀🔥

Took WJ to catch the Elite 8 Basketball Tournament at St. Joe, and it did not disappoint. We watched Riviera Prep out of Miami pull it out late in a tight one, then St. Joe battled hard and got the win over Crespi of Encino.

The gym was packed, the energy was crazy, and the hoops were high-level. Cool bonus for WJ too—Coach Derek Fisher in the building and Matt Barnes there supporting his sons.

Great basketball, great atmosphere, and even better memories with my guy. 💪🏽🏀
