It's actually happening. After years of threatening, I've actually started to make my own record. Thanks to everybody for the wonderful birthday wishes. I had a great day with family and friends and felt inspired to create. I'm not sure what exactly the record shall be, but I have a whole collection of songs that I've been writing over the years and It's time to get them out. I will keep you posted.

What on earth is going on these last few weeks? This is so sad and maddening. We've just lost 3 of my most favourite singers. First Mark Hollis, then Scott Walker

and now only just 2 days ago, the wonderful and sweet Shawn Smith at only 53. I remember touring around America obsessively listening to the first Brad LP. Beautiful songs delivered with so much soul, pain and fragility. I was honoured to mix some shows for Brad a few years back. It was just one fantastic song after another.
Shawn, you are loved and you will be greatly missed.
I'm blessed to have known you and heard your voice.
