šŸŒ³āœØ 20 years ago, I adopted this park and greenbelt, and hereā€™s a photo from the very beginning. Do you see those large trees? Sadly, we lost them to droughtā€”but many of the trees I planted are still thriving, and the park has been completely transformed. šŸŒæšŸ’š

This is part of my legacy, and Iā€™m proud of it. Watching this space grow and flourish over two decades has been a reminder that small efforts can lead to lasting change.

Did you know that my life was forever changed in 1987 when, at just 14 years old, I was in a motorcycle accident heading to a tennis tournament? I broke both legs, but the right leg wasnā€™t set correctly and has been an inch shorter ever since. What we didnā€™t know back thenā€”and only discovered in 2024, thanks to advanced MRIs here in Californiaā€”was that I also broke my tailbone in that crash. It was never diagnosed, and the damage contributed to the Degenerative Disc Disease I live with today.

Looking back, itā€™s astonishing how much pain Iā€™ve endured, especially since that accident wrecked my body in ways Iā€™m only now beginning to understand. Yet, through all of it, I didnā€™t let it stop me. I poured my heart and soul into creating Shello, Gorgeous!, personally producing every piece of content on this pageā€”even during the moments when the pain was excruciating.

Now, Iā€™m back with a renewed focus, ready to take on the next chapter of my journey and see if I can finally heal from that accident once and for all.

šŸ‘‹āœØ Saw an old fashion friendā€”someone whoā€™s known me for 20+ years when I was at my absolute most extra. Back then, I had this thing I called the ā€œmodelā€™s handshake,ā€ which involved grabbing you by the waist and pulling you in for a hug. Totally inappropriate. Totally unnecessary. Totally me at the time.Letā€™s call it what it was: me being a little bit of a creep and a whole lot of ridiculous. But hey, sizing up runway girls and boys was part of the hustle, right? Fast-forward to today, and I can laugh about it while fully cringing at my younger self. Growth is real, people.To anyone who endured those overly enthusiastic waist-grabsā€”you were fabulous then, and youā€™re even more fabulous now. Thanks for tolerating me. šŸ˜…Hereā€™s to owning our past, laughing at ourselves, and embracing all the awkward ways we grow. šŸ’ƒšŸ•ŗ
