Our Story
Digital Beach is a boutique creative Production and Post-Production company based in Venice, Florida specializing in the creation of content for television, film and radio. Asking how we came up with the name “Digital Beach”, it was simply a play on words. “Digital” is what we do, and the “Beach” is where we live. It just seemed appropriate seeing as our offices are just a short walk to the Gulf of Mexico.
Founded in 2011, Digital Beach Films began as a small post-production company created to meet the needs of area independent filmmakers. Specializing in editing and visual effects, Digital Beach Films soon added color correction/color grading as well as content encoding and delivery to it’s ever growing list of services. Our clients quickly learned that entrusting Digital Beach Films with their next project was simply a “no-brainer”. In 2014, Digital Beach Films dropped the “films” from it’s name, branding itself simply “Digital Beach”, reflecting our continued evolution to meet the needs of our clients in all forms of media including film, television, radio, online and digital.
Constantly evolving, and after posting several successful independent films, Digital Beach continues to expand our services to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients. No longer are we just the small little post-house aimed solely at the independent film market, but a post-production facility targeted at the digital media industry as a whole. Poised to raise the bar again, Digital Beach excels in not only commercial production, theatrical trailers and film production, but audio production as well. Using ProTools as the centerpiece of our audio facilities, we’ll take your project full circle, limited only by the imagination. Did I mention we have some of the most recognizable voice talents in the world at our disposal?
As one final nod to the continued evolution of Digital Beach, we can now create your DCP. With the advent of digital cinema, digital projection and digital delivery, more and more theaters are requiring content delivered using DCP or Digital Cinema Package, for direct ingest into their projectors. Finding a facility to encode DCP outside of LA can be difficult, and expensive, and cost prohibitive to the small independent filmmaker. Digital Beach aims to change that by offering an economical way to create and deliver the DCP file and aiming that directly at the independent filmmaker.
