Rooted & Rising started with a simple idea: give young people space to tell their stories, creatively and honestly.

In partnership with the Filipino American Society Inc., UbeHaus created the Rooted & Rising Youth Leadership Experience to center voice, identity, and confidence without leadership titles. What came out of it was community, courage, and a generation already stepping into their power.

Grateful to see this moment reflected back. This is the heart of .

The Filipino American Society Inc. 16th Biennial Charity Ball was a celebration of culture, bayanihan, and collective impact.

As creative partner, UbeHaus helped shape the visual storytelling and atmosphere of the evening — designing an experience rooted in intention, meaning, and shared pride. More than a gala, it was a moment of connection and possibility.

Honored to have been part of this chapter.

| At this year’s 16th Biennial Charity Ball, the youth took center stage through a powerful art installation: a visual story of identity, resilience, and bayanihan.

Created during the Rooted & Rising Youth Leadership Experience, these collages capture what it means to be Filipino American, to honor our roots, and to imagine what’s next.

Each piece reflects a generation rising — rooted in heritage, inspired by connection, and building bridges through art and storytelling.

Proudly sponsored by 11 & 12 Impact and powered by UbeHaus, in partnership with the Filipino American Society Inc.

| At the 16th Biennial Charity Ball, guests were invited to share their own meaning of bayanihan through handwritten notes pinned to our interactive installation powered by UbeHaus.

Each card carried a piece of someone’s story: words about unity, kindness, family, and shared purpose. Together, they formed a living collage,
a reflection of how bayanihan continues to evolve in our community, from everyday acts of service to collective strength in celebration.

Alongside the wall of words, we captured heartfelt answers from guests, moments that remind us that bayanihan isn’t just tradition, it’s a movement that keeps growing wherever Filipinos gather.

La Jota Moncadeña, a dance of rhythm, grace, and joy, came to life onstage at the 16th Biennial Charity Ball, performed beautifully by the Senyor Sto. Niño Devotees of Manasota.

Blending Filipino flair with Spanish influence, La Jota tells a story of celebration where every sway, stomp, and twirl becomes a tribute to resilience, unity, and the enduring spirit of our heritage.

Guests may have also spotted La Jota featured on one of the “Did You Know?” table cards, part of UbeHaus’ cultural activation that highlights the traditions and artistry keeping Filipino culture alive across generations.

As we celebrate , may La Jota remind us that our shared rhythm — of culture, joy, and community — continues to dance beyond borders.

Tinikling, the national dance of the Philippines, graced the stage at the 16th Biennial Charity Ball, performed with elegance and joy by the Senyor Sto. Niño Devotees of Manasota.

Inspired by the movement of the tikling bird as it weaves gracefully between bamboo poles, Tinikling celebrates agility, rhythm, and resilience — a reflection of the Filipino spirit itself. 💫

Guests may have also spotted Tinikling featured on one of the “Did You Know?” table cards, part of UbeHaus’ cultural activation showcasing iconic dances, traditions, and moments in Filipino and Filipino American history.

As we honor , may Tinikling remind us to stay in rhythm with our heritage, balancing tradition and progress, one graceful step at a time.

| Subli — a dance of devotion and faith, beautifully performed by the Kasayahan Dance Troupe, to honor the Holy Cross and express gratitude through graceful movement and rhythm. Originating from Batangas, it’s more than choreography — it’s prayer in motion, where every step and turn embodies humility, reverence, and hope.

If you were at the 16th Biennial Charity Ball, you may have spotted one of our “Did You Know?” cards on your table; each sharing a piece of Filipino history and heritage. From cultural dances like Subli to moments that shaped the Filipino American experience, these cards were a quiet nod to the richness of our roots.

This , may Subli remind us that storytelling takes many forms, sometimes through words, sometimes through dance, always through bayanihan.
