While hiking at Thumb Butte (Prescott, Arizona), we came across this itty bitty little horned lizard. He/she was one of the smallest lizards we've ever seen. He had some sort of black thing on the front of his face... not sure what that was... but he sure was adorable!

We had a beautiful hike near Thumb Butte in Prescott, Arizona the other day. Since it was our first time, we chose an easy trail that started at the day use area and looped around and back. It took just over two hours, but we stopped to take photos and videos and such. One hiker coming from the opposite direction advised us about an angry rattlesnake just up the trail, but we didn't see him (or her). I was a little disappointed, but it was probably for the best. 😆 We did, however, see this teeny tiny horned lizard (that had some black think stuck to his face). So cute!

The amazing tree is on the 17 Mile Drive in Monterey, CA. It's at the Ghost Trees stop at Pescadero Point. The sun was setting and casting a brilliant golden light onto the underside of the tree, making it look like it was glowing from within. Monterey has to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth. 🥰
