Happy ! Today’s theme is “hometown”. I no haven’t lived in my hometown since I was 18 so I figured now would be the best time to share with you all my story!

I grew up in Watertown, Connecticut! At 18 I moved to Rhode Island to attend school at Salve University.

I loved the town of Newport so so much that I stayed for years after I graduated. I lived there for a total of 6 years, met the most amazing people (including Nico), had incredible job opportunities that have both humbled and challenged me. Newport is the place I will forever call home. It has shaped me in so many ways, but after my 6th year there, I decided it was time for a change.

I moved to Hawaii January of 2020! It was incredible and I plan to move back there in the next up coming years. Unfortunately COVID hit, and my Hawaii journey came to an end.

I jumped to the mainland to the nearest state, California, where Nico was already living at the time.

After doing long distance for 9 months, we were able to quarantine together and made the decision to find a place together in Cali. We have now lived together out here for 8 months!!

I have moved so much in my life. It is never easy to start a new. With all things corona, this has been my hardest move yet. I am honored to live out my dream and be able to call Cali my home. I accept the challenges of making a life here and am continuously motivated by all the creative minds I now live near.

California is not my first stop and definitely not my last. No matter where I go, I forever appreciate my surroundings and

Sorry.. I can’t talk right now... doing hot girl sh*t 🙈

First time going out into the public world with my tripod to take photos by myself! I usually take my own around the house but I have Nico take all of my “away from home” shots! I was so nervous! And things didn’t go exactly as planned (see my stories) but we got her done!

Pick a color, any color!
Now look around you, and tell me where you see it?
Blue? The sky.
Green? Plant life!

Monochromatic scenes can be found everywhere, you just have to explore!
Here’s some tips!
•Look at buildings, walls, brick walls, cars, or even looking down at the floor.
•Find scenes with shade, tints, tones of one color
•Play with texture, light.
•Don’t worry if your image contains small amount of other colors.

You are a Badass: This book dives right in with its humor and straight to the point attitude. This book teaches you to stop living for other and lie for yourself! Throw away the obstacles and find the person that YOU want to be.

The Alchemist: A book that tells a beautiful story and teaches you to follow your heart and pursue your dreams.

Wherever You Go - There You Are: A title that explains itself, this book teaches you to be mindful, with a step-by-step meditation practice. Enjoy the present moment without worrying about the past or future!

VALENTINE QUARANTINE: (save this post! You’ll need it!)
The date-a shows that this Valentine’s Day is going to be TOUGH! 💔But I’m here to save your special day with a few Quarantine approved date ideas!
1) Go on a hike: Take a picnic with you and sit and eat at the prettiest view 🌱

2) Go on a drive: Explore new areas by driving yourselves around on your own private tour 🚗

3) Cook dinner: Light some candles at home and put some roses in a vase or peddles on the table 👩‍🍳 🧡

4) Bake dessert: Put on your favorite playlist and turn baking into a singing competition 🍪

5) Watch Movies: Curl up together on the couch, get your candies, and open some wine 🎞

TAKE A HIKE! FOR YOUR SELF-CARE… 🥾

Hikes have helped Nico and I get some much needed one on one time! 🏔 Going for hikes helps us to explore new areas and create memories together as a couple.☀️ Being outside boosts our happiness and creativity and kicks stress! 🧘‍♀️ Walking for just 15 minutes daily are some major vitamins for a healthy heart and headspace. I don’t just hike to be in nature, I LOVE it! 🚶🏽‍♂️

If you can’t take the heat, then get out of the kitchen! 🔥 Fun Fact About Us! We cook dinner together almost every night! 👨🏽‍🍳 Our top meals are tacos 🌮 (my personal fav!), pasta 🍝 (homemade sauce and noodles.. drooling), stir fry, 🍜, and fish burgers 🍔!
