1. Egg Life wraps: various flavors but I like plain. Fill them with hummus and veggies. Meat or tofu. I’m not “low-carb” anymore but I do have blood sugar issues that got even worse in perimenopause. These are great for their protein and are grain/gluten-free.
2. Seaweed Snacks: Knotts has been requesting these, but until now I had not found any that were not made with harmful oils. Avocado oil all the way! High in iodine - great in rice bowls and in salads with Asian style dressing.
3. Nufs: my new favorite cracker. To help regulate blood sugar, pairing carbs with fats and proteins is key. These have built-in protein from almond flour and taste great with warmed cottage cheese! Also gluten/grain free for those who need it.
4. YumEarth Candy Canes: fun without the food dyes. We use them to motivate during homework time - finish and go find one on the tree!
