We’re proud to announce that we’ve received FAA STC approval for the installation of the Universal Avionics KAPTURE™ Cockpit Voice and Flight Data Recorder in Embraer 170/175 aircraft.

This approval means operators can now benefit from the latest 25-hour CVR/FDR technology, designed to meet evolving regulatory requirements while reducing cost, weight, and maintenance through innovations like the patented Recorder Independent Power Supply (RIPS).

For airlines and operators, this is more than compliance—it’s about protecting critical flight data and ensuring long-term fleet readiness.
