Make California Florida!

Florida proves fast election results are possible when leaders actually care about competence. Ron DeSantis has every reason to call out California’s slow counts, because voters should not have to wait weeks while trust in the system erodes.

California officials point to mail ballots, signature checks, and state deadlines, but the public sees a basic contrast: one giant state gets results quickly, while another drags out counting and fuels suspicion. Election confidence requires speed, clarity, and accountability.

The FBI has arrested a California tech CEO living in a lavish $35 million mansion after federal authorities accused him of secretly supplying U.S. technology and equipment to Iran’s nuclear and military establishment while allegedly hiding millions of dollars from the IRS.

63-year-old Jamshid Ghomi, a dual U.S.-Iranian citizen and CEO of the Tehran-based tech firm Faraz Pardaz Rayaneh Co. Ltd. (FPR), was taken into custody on federal charges of conspiracy to violate the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.

He faces up to 20 years in federal prison. Prosecutors are already moving to seize his mansion and other assets purchased with Iranian blood money.

UNBELIEVABLE: Florida officials warned residents that the state is entering the most dangerous stretch of wildfire season amid severe drought conditions, urging Floridians to avoid outdoor burning and prepare their homes for potential evacuations.

Speaking alongside Attorney General James Uthmeier and Chief Financial Officer and State Fire Marshal Blaise Ingoglia, Florida Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson said the state has already battled more than 2,100 fires this year, scorching over 135,000 acres as dry conditions continue across much of Florida.
