To the mama feeding her baby at 3am — alone.
You're not just breastfeeding.
You're doing the night shifts and the morning shifts. You're Googling developmental milestones at midnight because nobody else is tracking them. You're building routines, managing the household, making the appointments, doing the emotional labor — all of it, by yourself.
And on top of that, you may be navigating someone who was supposed to show up for you — and doesn't. Someone who makes an already hard season even heavier. You carry that quietly, too.
But here you are. Still nourishing your baby. Still researching the best ways to support their growth. Still trying to carve out a moment — just one moment — to take care of yourself too.
That is not weakness. That is one of the most powerful things a woman can do.
I want you to know:
You are not failing because it's hard. It's hard because you're doing the work of many, with the resources of one.
Your baby sees you. Even if they can't say it yet — they feel your warmth, your consistency, your love. You are their safe place. And you built that all on your own.
You don't have to have it all figured out.
You just have to keep going — one feed, one day, one breath at a time.
And on the days when you can't find the strength? Come back here. Because this space is for you. The tired ones. The resilient ones. The ones doing it solo and still showing up beautifully.
💛 Save this for the hard days. Share it with a mama who needs to hear it.
Drop a 🌙 below if you're in the thick of it right now. You are so not alone.
