Respond well. Love well. Reflect King Jesus.

Emotions are not to embolden actions but to show us what has greatly impacted our thinking.

We are then given the opportunity to lay it at the feet of Jesus and allow Him to speak into that place to steer it towards the response He requires.

More often than not the emotion felt is not the action driver in the natural but meant to move us spiritually towards our need for King Jesus himself and a place in us that needs to be renewed by Him.

We are seeing so much hate from those saying we should love through disrespectful responses and name calling.

Please don’t be a reason someone else sees hypocrisy when they look for King Jesus.

In prayer this morning, my heart couldn’t help but cry out for Charlie Kirk, his family, and his life’s call. I found myself thanking Heaven for Charlie’s dedication to our country and the mouthpiece he was.
I was also drawn to the thought that he is being honored as a martyr before Heaven’s throne.
The Holy Spirit then reminded me that there is NOTHING STRONGER than a blood covenant or sacrifice. He had me look back over the other giants of their time (Lincoln, Kennedy, MLK), reminding me that they were all assassinated and of the cultural movements they represented. Look at how they marked an actual, irrevocable change in culture that we’ve yet to see reversed.

This is coming out of others’ mouths, but I too am standing in faith that this is another turning point for our culture. I believe we will turn toward the light and repel all darkness.

May we love one another better today than we did yesterday.
May we stand up for truth with boldness and let our love for others be more important than being right.

To King Jesus be all the glory forever and ever. Amen!
