Proud mom moment!!

Tonight as I was tucking Blake in we read the story of Saul. We read how the brightness of King Jesus’ light caused Saul to be blind and that King Jesus directed Ananias to pray for Saul and as he did scales fell from Saul’s eyes.

After that Blake asked, “Can that happen to us?”
I asked him what he meant.
He said “Can we have scales on our eyes?”
I said “yes.”
He then asked, “Do you want me to pray for your eyes?
(because I have contacts aka scales)
I said “Absolutely I want you to pray for my eyes!”
So he bowed his sweet little head and prayed that my eyes would be better by morning!

I received that prayer and have grabbed hold of it!
I just had to come record Blake’s child like faith in its prime!!!

Abba, create in me child like faith once again. Fill me afresh and a new!
May I never read your word and be so disconnected from it that I don’t apply what you’ve laid out for me in it.
Grow me big. Grow me strong. Increase my capacity Abba. Amen.
