I made it during today's LIVE using one of our vintage blue chenille fat quarters and our chenille fringe. The vintage texture, the tassels, and those striped USA letters are giving all the patriotic summer vibes!

📣 We are working on something different for Tuesdays. ☕️ We have decided to starting having a little tea time with y'all on Tuesdays. Me, Mom, Tricia, and Patti will all sit around a table together and chat. A different subject every week.

Of course we had to get cut mugs and napkins for our tea time. Y'all know we always have to go all in. These are the ones we picked. Which ones do you think match which person?

Griffin and I had a visitor today! My niece Palmer spent the day with us. This girl is full of so much life and energy. She is precious as can be and has a smile that can light up a room. Griffin had the best time watching her today, and I couldn’t have done it without him. Seriously, how did I watch him as a one year old without help. lol! Man they sure do keep you on your toes.

I won’t be going LIVE today, but I will see y’all tomorrow for something fun.

High Protein Broccoli Salad 🥦🥓🧀

This recipe is full of protein, flavor, and healthy ingredients. Plus, it is yummy.

Ingredients:
2 crowns of broccoli
1/2 purple onion or 2 shallots, diced
1 pack of cooked microwaveable bacon (10 slices)
1/2 cup diced pecans
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1/2 cup blended cottage cheese
2 caps or 2 tbsp of white wine vinegar
2 packets of Splenda or sweetener of choice
Salt and Pepper to taste

Cut broccoli florets into bite sized pieces and place into a medium size bowl. Add in onions, pecans, shredded cheese, bacon, vinegar, sweetener and salt and pepper. Mix well until combined. Taste for seasoning.

This recipe lasts well in the fridge for days. It is perfect for lunches and sides for dinner. It is about 200 calories per serving with about 13 grams of protein per serving. Enjoy!
