Hourly Pay Range: $15+ depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule: 9-5 M-F
About Us:
CBSL operates 2 radio stations serving Central Kentucky with both music and talk programming.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the smooth operation of our recording and broadcasting services during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our daily broadcasts and production processes, as well as providing support to local ministries in recording their radio programs.
Responsibilities:
Assist in coordinating daily programming schedules and ensuring seamless transitions between shows.
Support the production team by scheduling and coordinating recording sessions, editing audio content, and preparing for broadcasts.
Monitor on-air broadcasts to ensure audio quality and address any technical issues that may arise.
Collaborate with management to develop creative content ideas and execute promotional plans.
Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and responding to listener inquiries.
Adhere to FCC regulations and station policies regarding content, advertising, and broadcast standards.
Extend assistance to local ministries in recording their radio programs, ensuring their content is effectively captured and broadcasted.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or experience in broadcasting or media production is a plus but not required.
Basic understanding of audio recording/editing software and production equipment (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, soundboards) is a plus but not required.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Availability to work regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with the occasional evening or weekend day for special events/concerts.
