Awesome! Keep em coming y’all. This is the last week for submissions to be considered for the contest. The big winner is going to get a fully produced recording of their song and airplay on Birmingham Mountain Radio!
We just submitted a song for Mason Music Recording Studio’s songwriting contest. It’s been a while since we wrote a song that felt this good to us. Thanks Kameron for the help and we look forward to releasing this song, whether we win or not. Love you guys!

MP3 Audio Format Is Officially Dead
Going to the audio format graveyard with 8 tracks, vinyl, cassettes, and CDs. Somehow we don't think the MP3 will ever make a comeback...
A German foundation, which owns the patent for MP3 audio format and licenses it, has announced that it's abandoning the licenses to the format. The foundation has supported the use of superior formats like AAC family or MPEG-H.

One winner will be selected in November to record their song, free of charge, at the Mason Music Recording Studio during the month of December. The completed track will then be played on Birmingham Mountain Radio to ring in 2022 on January 1.

Submissions can be made in the form of voice memos, YouTube video clips, or digital demo recordings of any kind. Please also submit lyrics in a PDF document for consideration.
Lyrics must include the title of the song and composer’s name for administrative purposes.
