Cherokee Nation and Truth Initiative have partnered to provide Cherokee Nation citizens with FREE access to the EX Program, an evidence-based to***co cessation program designed to help people ages 13 and older quit for good.
✨ Developed by Truth Initiative in collaboration with Mayo Clinic, the EX Program offers:
📱 Personalized text message support
💻 Web-based quitting tools
📧 Helpful emails, tips, and reminders
Research shows that using the EX Program can increase the odds of quitting by up to 40%! 🎉
This initiative is supported through Cherokee Nation's ongoing investment in public health and wellness. The Public Health and Wellness Fund Act dedicates significant resources from opioid and e-cigarette lawsuit settlements, as well as annual third-party health insurance collections, to expand physical and mental wellness programs for Cherokee Nation citizens.

For those who lived through Sept. 11, 2001, the memories have not faded so much as settled into the places, objects and moments that bring that day rushing back.

In the years since the terrorist attacks, local residents have carried those memories in very different ways.

Superintendent says food service employee arrested

Vian Public Schools officials say an employee of the district’s Food Service Management Company will no longer be permitted to perform services on the school campus following the employee’s arrest last Tuesday night.

Vian Superintendent John Brockman released a statement last Wednesday, acknowledging the arrest.
